I can't believe it is Friday already. It feels like I have done so little, but in fact was quite productive. The in-laws left Monday morning, so it was nice to stretch out in the house again. My regular weekend was broken up because one of the other bartenders had a swearing in ceremony as a city commisioner. Still managed lunch and a couple of beers with Jason at the Fisherman's Net. Wednesday I went to Daytona twice. In the morning I went with David to do a site inspection for his Thursday gig at Keiser University, then stopped at Chili's for some lunch. Brought Mrs. Tiki home some yumminess, then had a short nap. Back to Daytona again to watch my first Daytona Cubs game of the season. Had a great time, keeping score and chatting with Sara. We have a great time at games because, unlike movies, I actually tolerate (even enjoy) explaining to her what is happening before us. Also had some good conversation with our neighbors in the seats, Lance & Wendy. They come to Daytona every year from Georgia, where Lance is a high-school baseball coach. Mrs. & decided that we are going to every Wednesday home game for the rest of the season. On a side note, the Tuesday Afternoon Social Club will be going to a 10:30am game next Tuesday!.
Thursday morning was spent accompanying David to his gig, getting back home, then updating his web site before going to work last night.
This morning I slept in until almost 11, and here I am thinking about food and looking forward (sorta) to going to work last night.
In an interesting chain of events last night, I did have a female customer leave me her bikini top as security while she went around the corner to her house to get money for her tab. That made the night go a little quicker. ;-)
Mahalo and aloha!!!
