Rest In Peace George Carlin

Legendary comedian George Carlin died of heart failure Sunday at a California hospital.

Carlin was to be awarded the 11th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this year. He was the first host of "Saturday Night Live," and last year he celebrated his 50th year in comedy. His influence can be heard in the routines of Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle.

I always think about George Carlin when I fly because of his Airline Announcements bit (watch below). I always "plan my route" toward the emergency exit. I was cracking Sara up on the plane up to Newport News because they kept making announcements from "Captain Alec". "Captain Alec has turned off the fasten seatbelt sign". More bullshit from the bogus captain. LOL

Here is the airline announcements (in two parts)

Here's a collage with his iconic performance, "The Seven Words You Can Never Say On TV." Be warned, he was arrested over this bit in 1972 for disturbing the peace in Milwaukee.

Tell 'em how it is for eternity George!
