Today's Drink Recipe: Tiki's Planter's Punch

I had a craving I stopped by Mort's Beachside Liquor for a couple supplies. yada yada yada I wake up three hours later on the couch. LOL

Here is my take on the Classic Planter's Punch. I must warn you. If you order a Planter's Punch at most bars today (including the Golden Lion), you will receive something similar in base, but muddied with a consortium of juices. Pineapple is really the only acceptable juice to be added, in my opinion.

Tiki's Planter's Punch

2 oz Myers's® dark Jamaican rum
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 oz grenadine
1/2 tsp sugar
dash Angostura bitters

Shake with ice and strain into a tall glass with crushed ice. Add an ounce or two of soda water if you like and stir. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple, an orange slice, and a cherry if you are feeling festive.
