Tiki's Tasty Tuna Salad

Tasty, easy, and healthy! I made this from what I had on hand. Yummy!!!


Tiki's Tuna Salad

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 snack size box of raisins (would have liked more but only had one left! LOL)
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 granny smith apple (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp. chopped scallions
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (i use smart balance. it is loaded with omega 3's and non-hydrogenated)
  • 1 tbsp. ground flax seed (i put that in about everything)
Mix all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice (just kidding!!!), folding in mayo last. Be sure to coat all ingredients with the mayo. Good on it's own, or on a bed of greens.

I ate mine today on whole grain toast, with a little salad of baby spinach, Amish gorgonzola cheese, and some yummy balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I also had a handful of grapes (the last in the bowl).
