Longtime friends and fan know that, for the last three years, I have been voted & named Favorite Bartender by Backstage Pass Magazine. Many of you have asked when you can vote for the 2009 Awards. In the previous years, winners were announced at the end of September. I have been monitoring their website, but have yet to see any spot to vote. I DID see a print copy a few weeks ago announcing that the contest was coming. I even emailed them but received no response.
I need your help! Since they haven't announced yet, I say we give them a "command performance" of sorts. I am asking all of my customers, readers, fans, and friends to email the magazine at info@backpassmag.com with the Subject Line: Favorite Bartender. In the body please enter please include at least the following info Mark Woods, Golden Lion Cafe. Let's see what happens!
