Bartending For A Cure Has Been Declared A Success

Bartending For A Cure Has Been Declared A Success, by me at least. :-D

It was fun, there was some money raised for the cause, and guests came to the Plantation Bar & Grill for the first time.

Thanks again!

Good times last night!

Had a fun night last night hanging with DJ Vern & Mark E. Walker at Finn's Beachside. Made a couple new friends, enjoyed the "sights" & watched the crowd react to Mark's new tune during the dance set.

Bartending For A Cure This Weekend!

Bartending For A Cure!

Join me for an evening of food, drink, & music to benefit the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life. I will be guest bartending at Plantation Bar & Grill, who have agreed to host this event! Plantation Bar & Grill is a new venue in the Halifax Plantation shopping center. Featuring an upscale dining opportunity with a casual atmosphere, PB&G will be a great spot for this event!

The restaurant is easy to find just off of I-95 at exit 278 (Old Dixie Highway).

The restaurant will be donating a portion of the evenings proceeds and my tips will be donated in their entirety, so tip big!

If you can't make it, please spread the word!

Cooking Cam!

Just getting around to posting this video blog from September 28. I have had a couple people ask for the recipe so first things first.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Barbecue Pork

2-3 lb boneless pork roast, cubed
2 onions, chopped
12 oz bottle barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
sandwich rolls

1. Place meat in slow cooker. Add onions, barbecue sauce, and honey.
2. Cover. Cook on Low 6-8 hours.
3. Use two forks to shred meat.
4. Serve on rolls with sauce.

If you missed it, you can watch me make this recipe along with witty commentary.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I just asked a total stranger if I could feel her boobies. Not really, but I am wearing a sweet pink oxford!
